She is the Chief Physician at Vajra Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat, Malayatoor, Cochin, with 14 years of clinical experience and a post graduate degree in psychology and counselling, has successfully treated numerous patients suffering from conditions where the mind and body are intricately linked, such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and chronic pain. Unique skill lies in diagnosing the root cause of psychosomatic symptoms, which often stem from imbalances in the body’s doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and mental stressors. Dr. Anitta serves as the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at the Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat, ensuring continuous medical supervision, patient safety, and smooth coordination of therapeutic programs. She plays a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of Ayurvedic and yoga-based healing services offered at the retreat.
With her grounding in Ayurveda and holistic healthcare, Dr. Anitta is responsible for day-to-day patient monitoring, clinical documentation, and assisting senior physicians in treatment planning and execution. She closely observes guests undergoing Panchakarma, wellness therapies, and yoga programs, ensuring treatments are delivered safely and effectively.
Her calm, approachable nature helps guests feel supported throughout their healing journey. Dr. Anitta also works in coordination with therapists, yoga instructors, and nursing staff to ensure individualized care and adherence to established treatment protocols.
Mr. Sivadas serves as the Senior Yoga Instructor and Counselling Faculty at the retreat, bringing over two decades of expertise in holistic health to the wellness team. With an M.Sc. in Yoga and an M.A. in Philosophy, he offers a profound depth of knowledge that bridges traditional Indian wisdom with modern mental health practices. As a Certified Yoga Trainer (Level-5) and a member of the Indian Yoga Association, he specializes in designing transformative yoga and meditation programs tailored for a diverse international clientele. Complementing his physical expertise, Mr. Sivadas holds a PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, with a proven track record of conducting stress management and suicide prevention sessions for the Kerala Police. At the retreat, he works in close coordination with the medical and therapeutic staff to ensure that every guest’s journey is supported by a balance of physical discipline and emotional resilience, inspiring a lifelong commitment to mental and physical wellbeing.
